Heart Attacks are a common disease among Silicon Valley workers

Next time when you are heading to work, make sure you have a good breakfast. Studies and the recent survey results convey a very serious problem that the Silicon Valley workers are making a habit of. Breakfast has always been mentioned as a very important meal for a day and skipping it will cause your body stress and get tired early and most importantly increases your chances of heart attack.


Many of the recent gofundme and fundraising sites posted a whopping rate of individuals passing away due to heart attack or cancer who are in mid 30s. The primary reason is extraordinary levels of stress and not living a human life every day. 


Most of our food intake these days is accompanied with watching TV, your computer monitor or your mobile phone. The proper way to have a meal and allow your body to absorb it and digest it faster is by one focussing on what you are eating, chewing at least 15 times before swallowing the food. And drink water only when you are thirsty but not because you read something somewhere on the web about drinking certain number of glasses a day. 


The best way to maintain a healthy intake of food and liquids is to listen to your body just like a kid does. A kid drinks water only when they are thirsty and only eats when they are hungry. 


Due to the vast access of information and data on the internet and we so attached to our every day work and commitments that keeps our body stressed enough and we suppress the inner messenger within us which keep sending us signals to start, stop, pause or restart our actions towards consuming food or liquids. 

Our parents and older generations didn't have access to so much data and information which in a way was better than what we have. They mostly had a decent job, ample time to spend with family and eat and relax and they had time to celebrate the present they have  rather than too much worrying about future.


Sleeping is another major crisis that engineers complain about these days due to the times they spend infront of the monitors and laptops all day and sometimes all night.


I see many of my fellow passengers sleeping in the BART including me and need some one else to wake us up as we are deprived of sleep.


Not many of the folks these days are even having a good sleep due to the time they spend thinking about future which they don't have any control anyway or the past that has already passed and ruining the present by thinking about past or future. Very few cherish and stay happy in the present and live a healthy life by listening to their body and maintaining a healthy balance.


Surprisingly there are videos on youtube that tell humans on how to drink water and eat food which clearly tells that we have forgotten how to live a normal life like a human.  And I am one of them that have to watch a video recently on how to drink water and how much water to drink and when to drink  as I forgot how to properly drink and consume water. 


Hope we all take a break from our busy schedule and live again like humans!!!
